District of Choice Application Timeline for the 2024-2025 Year

September 1, 2023 - The application window opens for the 2024-2025 school year
December 31, 2023 – The application window closes for the 2024-2025 school year
December 12, 2023 – The Governing Board will approve the enrollment caps for the 2024-2025 school year
January 11, 2024 - A public lottery drawing will occur to establish the District of Choice Wait List
January 31, 2024 – Parents will receive a letter advising them of their placement on the Wait List
May 1, 2024 – Parents will receive a letter providing an update on their child’s placement
August 2024 - The DOC waitlist is effective through the end of the second week of school, after which it is no longer valid.
